Brisbane Olympic United is an Australian football (soccer) club, founded in 1967. The club is based at Goodwin Park, Yeronga, Queensland and comprises senior and junior teams. The club changed its name to Olympic FC in 2008 upon joining the Queensland State League (QSL). After playing in the QSL in 2008 and 2009, the club elected to play in the Brisbane Premier League for season 2010. Olympic finished 5th in their first season back in the division, losing out in the finals series to Capalaba Bulldogs in the semi final. Brisbane Olympic is credited with developing two of Queensland's greatest players via their junior ranks - Harry Makridakis and Ben Shaw
